The position performs diagnostic ultrasound in a Cardiovascular Department. A Level 2 (Primary Echocardiographer) sonographer must specialize in echocardiography. The primary role is in the echocardiography laboratory and employee will be required to perform transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echo. The position may require after hours and rotating call responsibilities.

Education: High School Graduate, Graduate from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program or related allied health degree. Extensive experience may substitute training.
Experience: Greater than one year

License: Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers as RDCS
