Ultrasound Tech (Requisition # 18060) The Tech Ultrasound is responsible for the day-to-day operations (patient flow) and efficiency of the ultrasound department. The technologist must have knowledge of all areas within the ultrasound Department. Must utilize the principles of continuous quality improvement in collaboration with other health team members. The Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasound examinations according to the currently accepted practices of the ARDMS and Northwest Texas Healthcare System. The technologist will prepare technical reports, exam rooms, equipment and supplies for procedures. Current CPR certification required. American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and/or Cardiology Credentialing International (CCI) attempted with 12 months of hire date. Multi-Modality Tech (Requisition # 15446) Performs a variety of technical procedures which may include: M.R.I., CAT Scan, Routine Radiography and Angiography. The Tech - Multi Modality should be proficient in two areas, including Radiography. Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology. Maintains Current: American Registry of Radiology Technologist, State of Texas License, and CPR Certified.
Tech-Mammography (Requisition #18047) The Tech-Mammography is directly responsible for the day to day operations of the mammogram department. Must have knowledge of all areas within the mammogram department. Must utilize the appropriate leadership skills in supervising, delegating and evaluating employees. The coordinator utilizes the principles of Continuous Quality Improvement in collaboration with other health team members. The supervisor is a resource for other mammography employees for education training and problem solving. They are able to operate ionizing radiation producing equipment, under license regulations from the Bureau of Radiation Control of the State of Texas. The Tech - Mammography is able to perform all skills in Mammography technologist job description. Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology. Current: CPR certificate, American Registry of Radiology Technologist (Mammography), State of Texas License. Approved MQSA School of Mammography or other equal qualifier.
