The Program Director of the General Sonography Option, under the direction of the Dean of Health Sciences, will be responsible for all aspects of the development and direction of academic and clinical learning experiences of students within the General Sonography Option.
Teach didactic and clinical courses in the General Sonography Option
Evaluate student performance in the classroom and clinical setting
Develop instructional materials consistent with course objectives
Be responsible for the structure and daily operation of the General Sonography Option within CAAHEP accreditation standards
Maintain current knowledge of sonographic techniques and educational methodology through continuing professional development
Schedule regular site visits to clinical sites
Maintain current program records for CAAHEP accreditation
Assume a leadership role in the continued development of the program
Current RDMS certification in Abdomen and OB/GYN. Additional RVT certification preferred
Bachelor's Degree required
Minimum of two years full-time clinical experience in DMS
Minimum of two years experience as an instructor in a DMS Program
Proven ability to work effectively with a diverse faculty, staff and student population
Salary Range: $60,000.00-$65,000.00. Actual Salary Will Be Commensurate With Education and Experience in Accordance with MCCC/MTA Collective Bargaining Agreement. Relocation Stipend May Be Available.
