Produces two dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for use by Physician in diagnosis of disease and study of malfunction of organs by performing the following duties. Produces high quality vascular images. Follows up on any concerns that may arise. Assists in developing policies/procedures, as well as assists in performance and competency evaluations and monitoring and training of staff. Assists with evaluating equipment purchases. Assists with budget development. Must be able to develop new procedures and protocols as deemed necessary by the radiologist. Assist ultrasound coordinator, radiology manager as requested. May be asked to flex to various shifts as needed to support the department as well as flex hours up to cover time off within the dept.
Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school Graduate of an accredited Ultrasonography program or an accredited ARRT program
