Looking for a reliable, conscientious, outgoing and passionate team member to join our ultrasound unit. ARDMS registered diagnostic medical sonographer and NTQR Nuchal Translucency (NT) certified that is highly experienced and competent in high risk obstetrics and complex gynecology. Current clinical practice includes: high risk obstetrics, early pregnancy assessment, NT scans, Level II scans, cervical length screening, maternal and fetal Doppler studies, ultrasound guided amniocentesis procedures, biophysical profiles and fetal echo studies.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Graduate of formal education and training in Ultrasound Technology program. Must be ARDMS certified or eligible to take exam within 6 months. Minimum two years experience preferred.

Performs a variety of high risk OB ultrasound examinations and procedures using established protocols with some degree of individual judgment based on circumstances and patient conditions. Registered ARDMS member or eligible with OB/GYN certification. Nuchal Translucency required within one year of hire. Must have general understanding and working knowledge of a variety of diagnostic equipment. Must be capable of dealing effectively and ethically with a wide variety of personnel, patients and families. Should be able to work under pressure and multi-task effectively without sacrificing attention to detail.
Experience: One to two years of clinical experience in perinatal scanning, sonogram examinations and equipment usage preferred.
Education: Graduate of approved A.M.A. school of ultrasonography or hospital based two year program.
Special Skills: Member in good standing of ARDMS or registry eligible. Nuchal certification required within one year of hire. Must be able to recognize the significance of all structures in ultrasound images, and be skillful in recognizing and interpreting anatomical and pathological content of visualized images. Willingness to learn invasive procedures including but not limited to: amniocentesis, CVS, and PUBS.
