Learn More Description Performs cardiac echocardiogram, stress echocardiograms and Dobutamine stress echoes for non-invasive diagnosis of heart disease and assists Cardiologists with Transesophageal echocardiograms for invasive diagnosis of heart disease. Performs the clerical duties related to echo for documentation and record keeping. Obtains pertinent information from the patient and chart to enable a thorough exam. Performs a variety of arterial studies independently for the purpose of determining vascular viability in the upper and lower extremities and prepares results of the studies with necessary calculations and documentation. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development to provide care for Neonate, Pediatric, Adolescent and Geriatric patient in the noninvasive Echo/PV lab. Has skills necessary to provide care for these age groups according to Echo/PV lab policies and procedures. Enters patient charges correctly and timely Requirements
