SDMS's core purpose is to enhance the art and science of medicine by advancing medical sonography. As an SDMS member you will join an exclusive network of over 28,000 sonographers and sonography students.
Formed in 2009, the SDMS Foundation is a nonprofit charitable organization affiliated with the SDMS. The SDMS Foundation fosters professional learning and excellence by working to improve the field of diagnostic medical sonography.
Provides collaborative management to the Northern New Mexico Family Medicine Residency Program to ensure continued program accreditation. Program accreditation includes: Independent organization and management of daily program operations consistent in quality and content requirements as mandated by the standards and requirements established by the ACGME and RRC and all related Medical Boards.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree required in Health Care Administration, Community Health, Public Health, Education, Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development or comparable body of study; a Master's degree preferred in a similar specialty as noted for the BS or BA degree. Program experience may substitute year for year for education requirements.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: None specifically required, except as appropriate to educational discipline.

EXPERIENCE: Requires at least five (5) years of progressive health care experience with at least two (2) years involved in area of Residency Programs, or in arranging schedules, meetings and training of physicians and medical or clinical residents.
NATURE OF SUPERVISION: -Responsible to: Program Director, Residency Program with Administrative Supervision provided by Director of Medical Staff Office and Medical Education.
