Formed in 2009, the SDMS Foundation is a nonprofit charitable organization affiliated with the SDMS. The SDMS Foundation fosters professional learning and excellence by working to improve the field of diagnostic medical sonography.
Responsible for the daily operations of the Imaging Services Department, including Diagnostic Radiology, Mammography, Vascular Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Computed Tomography, MRI and off-campus diagnostic imaging centers. Duties include, but not limited to, performance management, supervision and evaluation of all technical and clerical staff utilized in the functions of the Imaging Services Department, establishing and monitoring effective policies and procedures to ensure the professional and ethical care of the patients served by these areas, budgetary responsibility and accountability, directly responsible for maintaining payroll, business office and accounting issues, radiology information systems, performance/quality improvement and assessment, planning and implementation of future services and equipment needs. To provide high quality Diagnostic Services while maintaining budgetary guidelines and productivity standards set forth by Hospital Administration. Accountable for the delivery of efficient, high quality services to the patient, physician and all customers, both internal and external, to the Imaging Services Department. Responsible for providing managerial coverage of the Imaging Services during hours of operation. Other related duties as assigned.
Required: Current State of Florida Radiology Licensure
Minimum of five (5) yearsï¿½ experience in Radiology
Minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience in Radiology
