Formed in 2009, the SDMS Foundation is a nonprofit charitable organization affiliated with the SDMS. The SDMS Foundation fosters professional learning and excellence by working to improve the field of diagnostic medical sonography.
POSITION SUMMARY: This Pelvic floor program is located primarily at the RWJ Fitness and Wellness Center Provide Evaluation and treatment of both female and male patients for the prevention, habitation and rehabilitation of functional disability, deficits and/or pain with the diagnosis of Pelvic floor dysfunction, pain, OBGYN Peri-partum and post -partum. Direct and coordinate community education outreach specific to the program Partake in marketing efforts and physician relations and outreach. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree, Master degree or Doctorate Current Physical therapy Licensure in state of NJ Demonstrate an interest in continuing education with a specialty of Women's Health, breast cancer rehab and pelvic floor rehabilitation. Demonstrate the ability to provide necessary education within the organization, and outside as needed. Demonstrate the ability to perform program marketing. Completed level I & II Pelvic floor rehabilitation continuing education courses. Minimum 2 years of experience treating patients a wide variety of disorders including, OBgyn Peri- partum and post-partum. Familiarity with biofeedback software programs sued in treatment of pelvic floor treatment.
